I Know What It Costs To Wait.
On 5th August 2020, I incorporated my first business. I remember exactly how it felt ... that quiet certainty that I was going to do it properly. I was going to build something real. I was going to make it work.
What followed was the most exhausting, humbling period of my life. From the outside, I looked busy. I was always moving ... the social media, the selling, the admin, the marketing, the finance. All of it. On my own. Constantly. But on the inside? Things were started but not finished. Working but fragile. Moving but heavy. At my lowest point I genuinely asked myself whether I was cut out for this at all. Not because the idea wasn't good. But because everything ... everything ... depended on me.
The shift came from an unexpected place. A friend invited me to hear someone speak. My first reaction was scepticism, I could already sell, I was already getting results, what did this have to do with me? I went anyway. And something landed. Not a tactic. Not a strategy. A truth: the problem was never that I wasn't working hard enough. The problem was that I hadn't built the right foundations in my business, or in myself. I stopped trying to be the system. I built one that worked for me. And then I did something even more important: I invested in becoming the person who could actually use it.
Because here's what I know now; and what I built this entire ecosystem around. You can have the best systems in the world. If you haven't done the identity work first, you will find a way to sabotage them. The business problem is almost always a person problem in disguise. Fix the person first. The business follows.
Today I travel, Barbados, Morocco, New York, Doha to name a few; with the confidence of knowing my business continues while I live my life. That's not luck. That's design. And it's what I'm here to help you build.

Michelle, thank you so much for both the virtual slaps and cuddles wherever they were needed. So much more relaxed in my decision making from that session. Now I know what I need to do next!
